From a Single Event to a Colorado Destination
More than six years ago, the property hosted its first rave event. As additional events followed, guests and organizers repeatedly asked how they could host their own gatherings at the venue. The property's natural beauty, unique layout, and unforgettable atmosphere created experiences that people wanted to share with others.
After the success of multiple events, owner James Trotter established Hatchetland Underground Music Venue LLC to open the property to event organizers, musicians, families, and outdoor enthusiasts. What began as a private event location has grown into a destination for concerts, festivals, weddings, reunions, camping experiences, and community gatherings. Today, Hatchetland continues to attract visitors from throughout Colorado, across the United States, and beyond.
